Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect from your physiotherapy?

During a soft tissue therapy session, you may experience immediate effects such as minor bruising, discomfort, and tenderness. After a session, you may feel a sense of relief, a sense of looseness, and mild soreness similar to post-exercise fatigue. Improved blood flow and relaxation are also common benefits. It’s important to stay hydrated afterward, as drinking water helps flush out toxins released during the therapy.

Can there be unexpected adverse reactions to your services?

There should not be any adverse reactions beyond those listed above. If you have concerns about any lotions or oils used during or after treatment, please feel free to ask or inform me in advance about any allergies to fragrances or other products. If you notice any unexpected reactions, such as hives or external bleeding, please notify me immediately or contact your primary care provider.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on the severity of the condition and your individual recovery goals. During your initial consultation, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

What should I wear to a physiotherapy session?

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. For example, shorts or a tank top may be ideal depending on the focus of the session.

Do I have to be an athlete to benefit from physiotherapy?

ANYBODY can benefit from physiotherapy, from Office Administration to our brave Law Enforcement, as the aim is building up optimal functional capacity to prevent pain and future injuries. Veterans and Law Enforcement will receive $10 off any treatment if this FAQ is mentioned.
